Before buying it, I was very surprised of its confort. And particurlarly the way the front part of the sole is "rolling up" the step. These are really walking shoes.
But after some intensive walkings, I must realize that these boots are perhaps a little bit narrow for such width feet as mine. Also I have from time to time the feeling that my ankles are not supported enough.
Anyway, a very nice product : very good leather quality and touch, good look.

This is as close to the perfect all terrain hiking boot as you will get! The leather is extremely high quality and nice and beefy so it offers loads of support but due to the flex points biult in to the boot your foot and ankle can still move like they're supposed to giving you a natural, comfortable stride. Zero breaking in time. I have worn these in so many conditions from hard mountain trekking with 30 lbs packs to walking in the woods, hell, I've used them as everyday boots last winter. I even sometimes wear them to work...
They do accept crampons, but only the strap-on version, and the sole is a bit soft for it, wich means they're great for glacier travel, but don't count on them as ice/mixed climbing boots. But take my word, these boots are made for walking!
