Nice light shoes with good profile. Bought them during wintersport in France and they still go strong. Ok for walking all day.

Can't say enough good things about these boots, the have been phenomenal. Used them mainly for extended backpacking, and even some mountaineering and climbing in them. They are a great pair of heavy wieght boots. The only thing to beware of, is the insole, it's worthless, and you might notice after a long day your feet are really, really tired. go with the superfeet insoles, and you have a damn good pair of boots though. had these for about 2 years now, and a lot of miles, and they are still good for more. take good care of them and they'll last you forever.

Eu uso as botas Salomon faz cinco anos.

These have been the best pair of boots I've ever owned. They have given me their all when on a tough backpacking trip and that's as much as I would ever need. They offer good traction, high quality, and a comfortable fit.

I would reccomend them to anyone looking for a good medium to heavy weight boot.

The proprietary ContaGrip soles on these things rock! They've got great adhesion even on wet rock. The medium-light leather upper dries quickly after it gets wet, which is only after a really good ""will get any boot wet"" rainy day. Just about everyone I know with these boots got a blister on the outside of the heel. This was easily fixed with the addition of a heel cup, which made the boot even more comfortable. I've seen others who have had this boot still looking brand new after 1000 miles, then others who practically tore them up after a few hundred.

Customer Service

Seems like you might hit or miss with the quality of this boot. I had a pair who's sole started delaminating after about 150 miles. Salomon replaced those, and the current pair is still performing great after 800+ miles. If you get a good pair, they make for an excellent boot.

They fit well, offer good grip, and hold up well, but they don't breathe well make your feet sweat.

I have been very pleased with my Salomons. I hadn't even considered buying new boots until I tried these on. They fit so perfectly right out of the box that I got them that day. They have worked very well for me. Good fit, COMFORTABLE, and durable. I would buy them again.

Customer Service

A few weeks after I had gotten them a shoelace loop pulled off. I called up the company and once I returned my boots they sent me a brand new pair. I had to go a while without boots, but they were very good to me.

thees boots fit well out of the box and take zero time to break in. however the uppers also wear out quickly, expect to relpace these boots each year if you do any more that 2 week long trips a year. soloman does replace boots if they think it was their fault

These boots have performed very well for me during the last year. I'm still growing, so I know I'll have to replace them soon, but I'll be able to sell them to somebody else--if you take good care of these boots, they'll stand up to as much abuse as you can give them (I've put about 4,000 miles on them in one year). The soles are great, very sticky. The boots are very comfortable out of the box, but they are amazingly comfortable after about five months heavy use.
