After these anvils broke my feet in they were great. Not near as nimble as many lighter boots on the market, but unbelieveable support. They fit my feet incredibly well (and my feet are very screwed up). I do recommend 1/2 size too big to allow toe room. Also, don't even think about hitting the trail right out of the box. I spent 2 weeks on a treadmill with terrible heel blisters. But once the leather lining molds to your foot you'll be one happy hiker. Only complaint was the damage they did to my wallet.
