Went backpacking for a long week in Colorado this summer. First time ever. These shoes rocked. They are the most comfortable shoe of any kind i have ever owned. Your feet don't get hot, and if you do fall in the creeks(only 6 times!) and submerge your feet they dry out in an hour or two, even if it is raining out! They have awsome support all over(I'm 6'3"" and 225 lbs.) and are nearly impossible to get blisters in. While the others were stuck at camp, unable to walk with sore feet, I was climbing mountains and haveing a blast. Best of all they are water proof and but let your feet ""breathe"" so they don't get hot. They are also built to last many years. I even wear to school because they are cool looking and very comfortbale. You would have to be a fool not to buy these.

I was lucky enough to find these on sale at my local mountaineering store. The best find I've had so far. Super light, waterproof, supportive, comfortable...What more could you ask for? I took a similar pair up to yosemite for the weekend once last year, and with almost no breakin, they performed excellenty. The problem was that that pair wasn't the TCY, so in the snow conditions that existed when I was there, they got soaked through. To anyone out there interested in these boots, definitely spend the extra for the TCY. I love these boots though. So far, I've broken in two pairs of these with no problems of blisters. I replaced the factory insoles with superfeet orthotic insoles, and let me tell you: The pair make a super pair of backpacking boots.

Customer Service

The Locking lace loop on one of my boots bent out and tore up my other boot, so I sent it back, and three weeks later I got a new pair which I promptly upgraded to the TCY version.

I got these boots, and were expecting to get blisters and all the good stuff that is included in getting new boots, but not one blister or hot spot showed up. i was so pumped. Untill the top right lace loop fell off. i was pretty pissed here i paid 200 bucks for a pair of boots and they are falling apart. I accally did not use the left top lace loop. and they are more comfy. they are good boots, duribility is questionable though.

Customer Service

they are very helpfull. they tried to help me out, but i could not go without boots for 3 weeks

Great boots, super lightweight with great support. they don't seem to stretch & soften over time like leather which is good. The only drawback is the way they seem to attract & hold on to dirt. Just dont wear them inside your sleeping bag. By far the best boots I have ever owned.

These are excellent boots. Sturdy comfortable and tough but the companies quality control is touchy. My boots chew through laces and the company cannot seem to fix it.

Customer Service

not the best. they try though which is nice but they don't quite do the trick.

Unbelievable!! A boot that does everything. I suspect that these boots are tough enough and durable enough to outlive me. Brillant for long multi-day treks and comfortable enough to be worn everyday around town or on a short walk. I have even taken them travelling overseas and still swear by them as being the best lightwieght and versitile pair of footwear that's around. Only down side is that they can chew the laces a bit, but hey it's a small price to pay for so many benifits...

I reccommend them to anybody and everybody, just ask my friends, even if you don't hike at all it's still worthwhie getting a pair.

All in all I've got to say that I love your work tecnica!!

Customer Service

No problems at all. I even called up the guys in Sydney for some extra info and they proved to be very helpfull.

These are the bomb! Two hard fall hunting seasons (archery with a longbow) through tree climbing, hiking in to hunting areas, climbing rock outcroppings, mud, snow, slush, etc. No break-in needed and hold up to any abuse. Very comfortable and durable. Cool when walking and warm when sitting still even down to -10F this past season. With a good pair of gaiters they are outstanding in snow, even on slippery steep side hills. Highly recommend. Even bought my wife a pair and she doesn't take them off.

Customer Service

No service needed, they hold up to any abuse.

THESE ARE A GREAT VALUE FOR $169.99. THEY ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE, WATERPROOF, AND COMFORTABLE AS HELL. I ORIGINALLY GOT A PAIR WITHOUT THE TCY WATERPROOF MEMBRANE AND WAS VERY HAPPY. THIS YEAR THEY GAVE THE BOOT A BEEFIER LUG, AND THAT'S ALL I NEEDED TO PURCHASE A NEW PAIR. I RECOMMEND THESE HIGHLY TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T MIND THE FUNKY LOOKS OF THE BOOT.
