This is TNF's best midweight boot to date. It is supportive, waterproof, and provides very good traction. I found the Eurosole to be almost as good as Vibram in term s of durability and traction. The leather is about 2.4 mm in thickness so it provides good support. Of course with any boot of this caliber, overheating can become an issue. This boot will probably be discontinued to make space for the spring 2004 footwear...so you can find pretty good deals on this boot. If you can get this boot on sale I think it will be money well spent. However, at retail price ($160) it faces stiff competition from Vasque, La Sportiva, and Merrell. Nevertheless, you may want to try on this boot even at list price. TNF has really improved their footwear over the years.

Customer Service

Overall experience with TNF has been good, but not great.
