I bought this bag 3 yrs. ago on sale for $99.00 + tax. It has proven to be a great value. I camp every month of the year with my son's Boy Scout troop and have been in some pretty cold conditions. The draft collar is a little skimpy but am thinking of opening the seam and adding some holofil. It doesn't compress like down but is still a manageable size and weight. Can't be beat for the money.

i think this a great bag for a good price. it has always kept me warm and dry, even when i have had large puddles in my tent (thats another review), and slept on snow without a sleeping pad. it compresses nicely, but along with the other reviews, i agree that the zipper could probably use some work, though it has never been a huge problem.

Customer Service

EMS has a great return policy if ever needed.

My LT 0 started out being a satisfying bag. I like the shell, and the size and cost of the bag were reasonable. I store my bags by hanging them up, and occasionally wash them, but still after maybe 50 nights in that bag, the loft is gone. I'm not impressed with Liteloft for an insulation. Any 30 degree bag on the market has more loft than my LT 0 - my kids new summer bag.

This is my first 0 degree bag. It has yet to let me down and has kept me toasty warm. Often times I have to unzipper a bit if it's not getting into the 20's. At the time of purchase, it proved to be the lightest 0 degree bag in this price range and had a more durable taffetta shell than the others I looked at. Comes with a compression and stuff sack. I particularly liked the staff's knowledge of their product, and their warranty service.

Not bad for the money. EMS tends to be pricy, but this bag is actually worth the money you spend on it. I ALWAYS catch the zipper, though. THis may very well be due to numb hands, but more often that not it is because of the bag. Very roomy and comfortable, thoug. Waterproof it before you use it.

Customer Service

EMS's customer service, at least in Connecticut, is excellent. THey are great about returns and are usually very helpful. Every once in a while I encounter a hot shot who thinks he knows more than he actually does, but you'll get that anywhere.

a low cost 0 degree bag that did not meet my full expectations, I had a zipper problem where it jammed all the time. overall it could have been a bit better for the money

I have the EMS LT0 Long with Thinsulate Liteloft insulation, and have been very satisfied. Although the shell is not wind proof nylon, it has kept me toasty on many chilly nights that went into the teens. This was sleeping in a wood shelter along the AT. It is not a bad bag for the money. I spray on a waterproofing before the season, and it seems good. I find the bag roomy, and warm. The zippers are not bad (dont snag allot), and there is room for other gear in the bag. It is just plain comfy.

Customer Service

The bag has a lifetime sleep cold warrenty, if you find that the insulation is collapsing, and is not doing its job, then call them and they will replace it. *** Make sure that you save your reciept*** I have never called them.

I also have the LT 40. It is great. It kept me warm at 30 degree temps (in a tent).

The fit is OK. A little tight. Lots of room in the bottom for my feet and gear. I doubt the rating though. In general I haven't had the greatest success with EMS brand gear. My North Face 45 bag is probably just as warm.
