This is a great bag, period. Looking at the past reviews it seems some people had a problem with the legroom, but I found there to be ample room to move around. I was even able to curl up sideways in the bag without feeling I was stretching it out or anything. Warmth was great! The temperature went down to around 3 degrees celcius at night, and I was warm enough to not have to wear anything (a luxury I''ve never had outdoors!). I even sweated a little, but the great thing was the sweat transfered off my body to the mattress below the bag! All in all, I was very happy with this bag!

Customer Service

Didn''t need to speak with Kelty about this bag, but about another product and found their phone support was very quick to answer my questions. Email support was a little lacking, though they tried v

I have nothing to compare this to but my LLbean ripstop goosdown 20 degree bag. But when comparing it to the LL Bean the Kelty is alot better. I love the polorguard 3D, it holds its loft much better but is a little less compressable and weighs a little more. The bag is not very roomy but it has always kept me warm. I love the hood and the material it is made out of wicks away any sweat very well. I love the outer shell moisture has never penetrated in to it and gott me wet. Even when sleeping outside of my tent.

I plan on buying a better bag but only to get a 0 Degree and something with a little more room.

Customer Service

Bad reputation but was very informative when I called for info. I have no problem with them so far.

I got the Serrano 15 degree bag for a great price. I just wish someone told me I was buying a straight jacket. It's not just tight at the knees. It's also tight around the shoulders. I've tried a lot of bags and knew that kelty didn't have the best reputation, but I guess I was just blinded by the price (around 100 bucks). Now, it's just sitting in the closet. I'm still looking for a tube-shaped partner to loan it to. It might make a good women's bag, but I think the knee region is constricting for everybody. All of this discomfort might be justified if this bag were particularly light, but it's not. I suppose it's a good backup when conditions call for a synthetic, but I really start to hate the thing after multiple nights.

I recently purchased the serano 15 degree bag. For the price it can't be beat. I paid $109. It has more than enough room for my smaller fram, and is highly compressable.

This bag comes in both a +15 and 0 degree rating. I have the 0 and used it all this winter. The design of this bag is great, it has a larger than normal toe box that is very comfortable. I have a few other friends that use this bag and all of us highly recomend it.

This bag is a great deal. It compresses down to nothing and is warm in the fall evenings. Not a lot of room for the knees.

I thought the serrano was a great bargain, considering it costs 20%less than its competitors,
and the temperature rating is justified,
but this bag is very narrow from ribs to knees,
making it somewhat uncomfortable for someone who moves as much as me while sleeping.
