I didn't mean to, but I've actually tested mine at pretty low temps (well, in the 30's) and have been very happy with it. I don't believe you're going to get a lot more out of a bag by spending more money than if you were to buy this one.

Can't say I have the same experience as Cheryl did, but I did enjoy this bag. Kept me warm below twenty degrees and comfortable up to fifty five. Great for week long treks but not recommended for a thru-hike, such as I just did. Too bulky and doesn't compress down much. For it's value it is excellent.

Yes, their rep. sent me the wrong bag twice- no idea what her problem was. On the third shipment they got it right, and just in time for my trip.

My wife and each have the tapered mummy bags in 20 degrees. The style allows them to zip together, but the velcro at the top of the zippers is on the same side, so they don't velcro together, and the zippers tend to work themselves down in the night. Thinsulate isn't the lightest, most compact material, but I find them to be of good quality.
