I've had this bag for about 3 years. Best I've ever used. It's cut slim, but I don't find that a problem. It only weighs about 3lbs. 4 oz or so, I have the long version.I'm 6-4, 200lbs. I've used it witha bivy and with a tent, on Mt. Shasta and in Death Valley; if it's warm out, I just unzip it. It lists for over $400 I think, but I paid about $230. That's the advantage of living here; I went into the Marmot store in Berkeley and told them I liked the bag, "but when were they going to have a sale?" he said just a minute, ran downstairs, and said I've got 3 of them for about $280. I said I'll think about it. When I came back in a month, it was down to about $230, so I jumped on it. Truly a great bag, no rips, tears, etc. I've never been cold in it.

Customer Service

Best there is. I shop there a lot, Always great accomodating service. Never a problem with returns. You can buy boots there with a 30 day return policy, as long as you havent worn them outside. Also, if you buy something and it goes on sale within a month or so, the'll give you a credit for the difference.

I've only had the Aiguille for six months now but have slept in in quite a bit. It's a typical Marmot bag - quality construction and accurate temp rating. The shell fabric is lighter than in some other brands it seems like but so far no tears - it just feels lighter. It's the nylon shell version - I've had a little condensation inside my older Goretex bag and I like the nylon better in that regard. It seems like I always ended up using a bivy sack any way when outside the tent. A Goretex bivy and Goretex (or Dryloft) shell together seem to cause problems venting off moisture. At 6' 2" and 190#,, I don't think the cut of the bag is all that small; I can move around just fine in it. Light weight - plenty warm - stuffs small and easy - what else can a bag do?

Customer Service

I had a Marmot Gore Tex jacket delaminate (first generation). I called Marmot and told them about it. Two weeks later I had a brand new replacement. No hassles, great friendly service people that made it all easy. Every company should take care of business like Marmot.

I had a Marmot Kestral for 10 years. It's an almost identical bag which served me well until I sold it to a friend. It had 7.5" of loft when I bought it and 7.5" when I sold it ten years later. Take good care of a good product and it will take good care of you.
