I love my bag! I've spent many a night in a sleeping bag and I'm a stickler for both weight and function. At 3 pounds, it's tough to find a 0 degree bag. I also liked the sixing options, since many companies make them for 5 foot something then 6'4".

I love this bag! this has been a great bag for any trip ive done--wind rivers, all over the rockies and the tetons. ive never been cold and it is very light and packs well for the warmth. the DL is a good edition for winter snow cave camping and such. hopefully the last bag Ill ever own!

Customer Service

havent needed to return this bag yet. but returned some shells with a torn seam and got another pair no questions asked! Marmot rules.

I have a love/hate relationship with this bag. I LOVE its fine construction, high quality and advanced materials, generous cut (I'm 6'5""/275 lbs and even I find this bag to be luxurious), warmth and comfort and performance in all conditions. I HATE getting out of this bag in the morning cause its SO DAMN COMFORTABLE! The gossamer fabric and the high quality down are so nice and comfy that you really don't wanna leave this bag just like you wanna stay in a nice warm bed on a cold winter's morning! I haven't used this bag in deep winter conditions yet, but it has kept me toasty at 40 degs F, and above 45 degs, its too warm and has to be opened (whereas my TNF Blue Kazoo starts to get nippy at 40 degs.) The fine construction and materials quality of this Marmot bag blow away the TNF down and synthetic bags I have owned in the past 25 years. It also compresses unbelievably small and fits easily into the bag compartment of my Astralplane. This is one DAMN FINE sleeping bag, the best I've ever owned. Buy one now!

Customer Service

Called Marmot cust. serv. right after I got the bag with some care questions. Their response was immediate, knowledgeable, very helpful, courteous and FUN!

I picked this bag up several months ago, sprang the extra $100 bones for the Dryloft shell, and OH BOY! Such a nice warm bag, no condensation troubles in the morning. The bag seems to know just how warm to keep you (I just can't explain). So far it's just the nicest bag that I've ever owned.

Customer Service

Unless you find this bag mis-marked, you're gonna pay for it. But I really feel that you get what you pay for.

I've used this bag on several 10 day winter backpacking trips. I have the gore dryloft version. Talk about warm, this bag rocks!!! It packs pretty small for a big winter bag. It is also highly windproof. This bag is very soft and cozy. Five stars all the way.

Customer Service

Customer service is awesome. I sent my bag to Marmot to be cleaned after a season of abuse, and within two weeks I had a clean, fresh smelling bag ready to be used for the next winter season.

This is an amazing sleeping bag. I've used it for everything from snow camping to desert camping (without a tent) to car-camping and sleeping at a friend's place. It's great all around: very light-weight for the amount of insulation and packs extremely small. It's usually on the ""too-warm"" side for my purpose, though. I'll probably be looking to sell it soon. It still looks new!

For most gear, it's hard to beat Marmot. I especially like their bags. You do pay for them, but once you use one you're trying to work out your budget for the next Marmot bag. Great quality, lots of loft, but still packs down small. If you forsee any wetness in your future, spring for the DL version - money well spent.

Customer Service

Marmot is great at standing behind their product. They believe in what they sell and try to provide the service to back it up.
