This bag has served me well in every situation I''ve put it in. I used it for two straight weeks over the summer in the balmy midwest heat and had to keep it unzipped most of the time. It keeps the wearer warm even when wet, being synthetic (I have the older HV version). THe bag is at its best in the cold: I''ve slept comfortably around 20 multiple times. Its not a below-0 bag but could easliy supplement one that is. The provided stuff sack is too big for backpacking, so a compression sack is needed. BOTTOM LINE: Warm! Great value and quality!

I bought this bag on sale. It is the Polarguard 3D model. I have used it about 50 times in about six months. It kept really warm on a 15 degree night. I thought that was strange when I was on the AT and it was 15 degrees and I was warm in a 20 degree bag!! I believe that Mountain Hardwear makes quality stuff. This bag was definently worth what I paid for it.

I purchased the Trekker on the weight of Backpacker Magazine's favorable review and it lived up to their comments. My bag is the 2001 model with Polarguard 3D fill instead of the older model's HV. It compresses well, is relatively light and kept me comfortably warm on a 3 day trip in Grand Canyon during windy 20 degree nights with a good amount of rain and hail. I slept in a tent and had nothing on but my briefs. Very toasty and I experienced no cold spots. Quality of materials and workmanship is top notch. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a 3 season synthetic. Awesome.

Cool bag, I mean warm bag. I wasn't really sure what Polaguard HV was until I received the bag. I guess it doesn't compress as well as 3D. I had to find another stuff sack for it as the one that came with it was huge, but had no problem getting it in a OR sack about half the size.

I've only spent one night in it, but was toasty warm and very impressed by the construction.

It's a keeper.

I have had this bag for one year now and can say that it has performed better than I expected it to. It is bulkier than down and takes up more space in a backpack but it dries faster and it's exterior shell is excellent at resisting moisture. This bag requires less care. I do find that during the summer I sleep with it mostly unzipped because it is just too warm. . . given it's economical price, I find this bag to be an excellent value.

I have been using this product a little over 5month now. It is light, compact and durable. I have the mummy style, and it is a bit uncomfortable for a long term use (I need a little more room around my legs). Over all it is a great sleeping bag.

We originally bought this bag for my wife. Since then, I have traded her my North Face Cat's Meow for the Trekker. I feel that it's a more comfortable bag than the North Face. I'm also impressed with their attention to detail, and it's very durable. Highly recommended as a first and/or last bag for just about any season.
