The first few times I used this bag happened to be in warmer temperatures than it is supposedly design intended. The first time I used the thing on a cold weather excursion, in temperatures ranging from 0F down to -20F, I was quite uncomfortable to say the least. The next cold weather bag I buy will most certainly be a down bag. I am unsure whether it is the 3D Polarguard that is lacking in performance or the "Sierra" design. I am happy with the performance level of most Sierra Design products but was disappointed in this particular instance.
