Sierra Designs Dream Machine Stretch 3D +15 Sleeping Bags

Sierra Designs Dream Machine Stretch 3D +15 Sleeping Bags

DESCRIPTION

This innovative mummy bag is a comfortable choice for 3-season backpacking and camping. Sierra Designs exclusive "stretch" technology flexes with your body for unrestricted movement during sleep, providing an added 3" of girth. Durable and efficient Polarguard(R) 3D insulation offers a high warmth-to-weight ratio and continues to insulate even if wet. Extremely durable polyester taffeta shell has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish; comfortable, moisture-wicking polyester lining warms up fast. Standard mummy hood cradles your head with warmth and features fleece drawcord casing that is soft against your face. Hood's differentiated drawcords make custom fitting easy, even in the dark--flat cord adjusts forehead area; round cord adjusts chin area. "Pad Locks", loops at the shoulders and hips, provide an attachment point to keep your bag and sleeping pad together for a good night's sleep. Ground-level side seam allows full-length draft tube to stay put, preventing cold air from seeping through the zipper.

This was the first mummy bag I purchased. It has held up well although the 15 degree rating may be a little optimistic. Synthetic insulation is definitely the way to go if you think you're going to get wet at all.

Good all-around bag. Great design. Not to weighty at 3lb 6oz. You''ve gotta love the fleece around the face on a cold night!!!
