I highly recommend this sleeping bag - I used it recently on a 3 week camping/hiking trip in California - from the desert to the High Sierra and it performed excellently. It is incredibly light and incredibly warm.

after a lot of research, i picked the georgia, and here's why: 1. length + fit: major factors. my other bags are ""unisex"" bags + have always felt too long for me. they're great if i want to do mermaid impressions in my sleep, but otherwise it seems like a lot of extra, unneeded stuff down by my feets. the georgia and the rosa, which are shorter than average w/ a bit more girth in the hips, both fit like a glove. 2. product feedback: three reviews of the georgia rated it as a top pick. in backpacker (oct. 98?) the reviewer listed many pluses, but when asked for negatives said ""still looking!"" one women i know has used the rosa (synthetic - formerly knows as the amelia earhart) for a year + loves it. 3. variety: already have 2 synth bags - one for warm, wet weather + one for cool, wet weather. now i can take on all sorts of various weather conditions in style. the georgia is warm and comphy to a fault. 4. bivy-ness: one feature i liked was the dwr finish on the outside of the bag. this doesn't make it weatherproof by any means, but will protect it from the morning dew when sleeping under the stars. 5. packability: the thing packs into a stuff sack the size of a small loaf of bread and weighs about 2 lbs. this will free up more space in my pack for other goodies. happy trails. autumn elizabeth.

A little chilly in the 10-20 degree range. Took it backcountry snowboarding last May and FROZE (in all fairness, it was a late, cold spring in WA and I was sleeping on only a tarp and long thermarest in a snow cave). It is super light though and packs down to almost nothing. The draft collar is well-insulated and fits well, but the overall bag width is marginal (I like to sleep with one knee pulled up to my side, so width is important). Use it 3 season only and you'll be ok. I'm only giving the value 3-stars because I got it for $120 and wouldn't buy it for a penny more.
