Bought 15-degree l/r zip models for the wife and I when we left on a 13,000-mile car-camping trip because they were dead cheap and I knew what to expect from a 15-deg Hollofil II bag. Comfort is a subjective thing, I was just fine the whole time, she was often cold. Temps ranged from the 20's to the 80's at night. Got the foot soaked once or twice (don't ask) but kept us toasty and dried nicely overnight. If I could have anything I'd maybe get one that was a little lighter, more compressible, maybe one o' them watch pockets on the outside, but for $50 you can't beat it with a stick.

Customer Service

Never had to use either Slumberjack or Campmor c/s.

Wonderful bag for the money. Have used it in temps between 24-33 degrees and slept comfortably warm, even when the bag got soaked. Might be too warm for summer camping in warm climates, but otherwise, can't really go wrong. If it were a little lighter, it'd be perfect.

Great product for the money. I took my new bag out for its inaugural run and it got down to 14 degrees and I was warm and toasty. I have not used it at higher temps but I can see how it might be a bit stiky at over 50 degrees. I would recommend this product for the beginner backpacker.

It is a decent bag for 3-season use. I have had it for two years and when it was new I would stay warm down to 15 degrees in my skivies. Now it has lost some of its loft but a fleece liner helps. The draw cords are not differentiated so they can be difficult to manage in the dark. Also it does not have a draft collar so I find myself sticking a shirt down below my neck to keep in heat. For the money it is a good value. However if I had it to do over again I would save a little longer and get a better bag.

This is a great bag for the price. I brought this bag on week-long trips where I knew it would get wet because it dries fast. For a fiber filled bag it packs pretty small. It would be better if it would breath a little more.

I've had this sleeping bag for over 10 years (actually a previous similar model) and have used it so many times outdoors I can't even remember. I also have about 5 continuous years of sleeping in on my bed. So it doesn't smell very good anymore but the zipper works and it's not torn. I almost got talked into a down bag at the store because the guy was telling me how they loose their warmth. Well this winter I have spent some 10 degree nights in the snow in a one man tent cozy as can be. Don't be fooled. My feet don't even get cold.

I purchased this bag to take to MTB races. It has stood up very well for 3 years. Like most everyone else said, it gets sticky when it is above 55 degrees. Other then that it's a great bag for what I use it for.

I bought a $80 coleman bag and it ripped the first trip while I was putting it in the stuff sack. I took it back and swaped it for the slumberjack.

Nice bag, not for winter use.. a little heavy for backpacking...but a real nice bag for the price.
Filling seems to stay in place well. For cold weather may want to use with a liner

I purchased the long version in the 15 degree bag and found it to be a tremendous value for $79. My son inherited this bag for his scout camping trips and it has held up to the rigors of boys and camping. A few of the newer scouts have purchased the same model based on its synthetic fill, great price for value, and warmth. I found the bag to be comfortable and roomy for my size - 6'0"" and 175 lbs.

It is a good value for the money. I got it for my girlfriend and she likes it. It is rated to 15 and keeps her warm into the low 20's. It is a little heavy for a 15 bag. It weights 4lbs, which is a full pound more then my Survivor (20 degree) that is because it uses holofil II instead of qualofil. Nevertheless it is a good bag and slumberjack stands behind there products. ie. great customer service.
