I have used this bag for a number of years now and find it to be a decent 0 degree sleeper. I am of the opinion that any manufacturer's rating is 5 degrees to optimistic, and this is no different. I am a warm sleeper and find this extremely comfortable down to about 5 degrees. Anything below that and you'll want a silk or fleece liner to make up the difference. For someone on a budget, this is a nice value and will provide years of service. My only significant complaint would be the bags ability to shed down feathers all over the place.
