Although this bag is definately NOT desgined for winter camping, it is great for what it is! It actually kept me nice and warm in the Texas hill country in mid-autumn (approximately 38-48 degrees farenheit at night). It is a very cushy and comfortable bag as well. Because it is not a full mummy bag (i.e., it doesn't have a hood, it is also comfortable (as far as temperature regulation goes) for spring and summer camping. The bag is a great value for a 2 or 3 season sleeping bag that you want to keep you warm in cold temperatures and cool in warmer ones. I strongly recommend this bag if you are looking for a technical bag that you can use when it is not too cold, or if you primarily camp/backpack in warmer temperatures. One of the best values in sleeping bags.
