The North Face Windstorm Sleeping Bag Sleeping Bags

The North Face Windstorm Sleeping Bag Sleeping Bags

DESCRIPTION

The North Face Windstorm Sleeping Bag is a quick drying Polarguard 3D bag that will keep you warm in temperatures as low as 35 degrees fahrenheit. This bag is also light and packable for summer backpacking or travel. Just a note of caution, they call it the Windstorm because it will shield you from outside elements but not self conjured windstorms inside the bag.

I picked up the Northface Windstorm at an end-of-season closeout at Dicks. The 35 degree rating is in between the zero-degree and summer-only bags I own and the $49 price tag was hard to beat. This extremely light synthetic bag has cut quite a few pounds off my pack weight for spring and fall treks. The 35 degree rating is definitely over-stated. In skivies it's good to 45 degrees and with long underwear it's still a stretch to 35 degrees. It's well constructed and the zipper and drawchord are easy to reach. I've used the bag wet and it still performed well.
