My Apache is my favorite sleeping bag. Excellent quality and very light weight at exactly 2 lbs. WM is head and shoulders above everyone else in terms of quality. As a result, I have sold all my other bags. The Apache has always kept me warm, spring through fall in the Sierras. My favorite morning was waking up after a tentless night under the stars with morning dew drops beaded up on the outside of the bag. A quick shake off and it was dry. I never knew it during the night, since I was roasty-toasty. For anyone who likes having confidence in their gear, just know that you won''''t be disappointed in buying an Apache or any other WM sleeping bag.

Customer Service

I can't believe the review that claimed they were cold well ABOVE the temperature rating of this bag. It is the finest bag made for three season use--unless you are carrying around some extra weight. (It's slim) If you are looking for a remarkable warm, light, well-made bag, the Apache is the way to go.

This bag is THE BOMB! Through the first part of my thru-hike I was not ever less than warm. I woke up one morning with my tarp encased in ice but had nary a clue because I was at Club Med in my bag. Super quality and only 2 lbs - it is my secret weapon against the cold. If it gets a bit toasty (and it will in this furnace of a bag), just shake the down to the bottom and effectively change the temperature rating. Right now, my Apache is a 45 degree bag and is still THE BOMB.

I've had this bag for about a year and a half now. While I'm an urbage savage at best, I've used it numerous times in weather ranging from 35 to 50 degrees. I've even tried to find how accurate the rating (20 deg.) is. Well, I've taken it down to about 5 degrees sleeping outside a tent and remained warm. I wasn't super warm but nonetheless I stayed warm at 15 degrees below the rating in a bag that weighs just barely over two pounds! I've had other, cheaper sythetic bags (a kelty polarguard, and a northface cat's meow 3D) and they really cant compare at all.
This bag, while 1 1/2 times the price of sythetics, is the only way. I use it every night completely zipped open and i still sweat.
I cant say anything better about its quality. I traveled to the north side of chicago to get it. Definitely worth it.

This is the best bag i ever bought for spring, fall and winther (in Denmark). I have no problem keeping warm in it. It is also windproof, so I don't need to use my tent. My only two problems is it is a little bit too big and it is too warm in the summer (I have an Ajungilak Ultra compact for this time of the year).

I have owned this bag for four years now and it is a great bag. The biggest problem is that if the temperature is above 25F I sweat in it.

The construction is top end and I have very little down leakage with it. The fabric does absorb moisture from the inside of the tent but has never affected the loft.

The fabric stiffener built in does work to keep the zipper from being caught in it which is something I have problems with in all my other bags.

This bag weighs only 2.4 lbs which I particularly appreciate.

I am not pleased with this bag AT ALL! I have given it the benefit of the doubt on numerous trips, but I am consistently cold in above-zero (celcius) temperatures. (bag is rated to -8C). The last straw was being in a 4 season tent in May with perfect weather around +5C overnight. I slept with two other people in the tent who were comfortable, while I bundled up in my down vest, and put a Nalgene bottle of hot water in the bag with me to keep me warm!! I find the hood doesn't contour well to me head, which means I end up with my mouth inside the bag adding to condensation problems. I am not normally a cold sleeper, so this was totally unexpected! It is a very tight fitting bag, leaving little room to move around, so if I wasn't waking up cold, I was waking up because I wasn't comfortable. Not impressed.
