Not bad....I didn't feel a single root or rock while sleeping and I slept on some pretty bumpy ground. The pad also insulated pretty well. It was nice and light. However, it was a chore it roll it up tight while packing. Don't expect a cushy bed though. Lay on your back and you'll get a good nights sleep.
