I've used this stove about 30 times over the last year or so. I am very happy with it. It is very quick to set up and easy to use - I can get it out of my pack, set up, and have a quart of water boiling by the time my buddy with the Whisperlight has just gotten his running. The fuel cartridges work well, really produce a strong, hot flame for most of the cartidge (starts to fade when you've used about 90% of the fuel in it). Probably not what you want for an extended trip where you need to resupply with fuel, due to propietary nature and unknown availability of the cartidge/fuel - and you can probably boil more quarts of water with a white gas stove per equivalent measure of fuel. But, it cranks the heat, and is no fuss, no mess - great for trips where you can take all of your fuel from the outset.

I like the smaller fuel cartridges. I always take the last one I used plus however many full ones I think I'll need. I think it prevents me from having lots of partially used large cartridges lying around. My opinion, though.
