I use this stove for camping and for military duty, it is great to keep a can of water going in the trenches and for "microwaving" trail food. The only problem I have found is that if the fuel is not kept upright, which it usually is not in my pack, it is a little stubborn to light, however if you leave it sit for a few minutes and then try to light it, no problem. Customer Service no idea don't think I will have to find out. Similar Products Used: Coleman |

Great stove. It burns a nice wide even flame, simmers great, is more fuel efficient than most stoves, has piezo ignition and windscreen and is priced nicely - everything I was looking for in a stove. Decided to get this over the Primus Techno Trail for its durability. Just the feel of it feels better designed and stronger compared to the Techno Trail. I like the concept of the hard shell case in comes with to protect the stove but it is relatively large. However, it can double as a base when cooking to hold the stove in place. I don't mind the weight of this stove so much as the packed size, but this is a minor grievance. I have used it on cold and windy nights in PA and NJ with no adverse affect on perfomance. Highly recommend but just remember that it will take up more space in your pack than your average stove Customer Service Product shipped very quickly so I can't say anything bad about the retailer. Not many retailers out there that carry this stove. Vaude was very helpful with all questions I had about stove. Supposedly, this stove works more efficiently with Markill fuel but I can't find it in a store anywhere. Vaude sells it online but only by the case!!! |

Love this stove. Originally was going to buy the MSR or Coleman, but I am very happy I decided on the Dragon for it''s simplicity in assembly and operation. The windscreen is amazing and keeps a steady flame in any weather. I''ve used this stove under all conditions, and while butane is less effective in cold and high altitudes, I did not notice much difference. My friends purchased MSR''s and must pressurize their fuel. The butane and peizo lighter in the Markill are fast and efficient and I am done cooking and eating before my friends even begin. Customer Service Haven''t needed it yet. Similar Products Used: Coleman Dual Fuel Stoves MSR''s |

Strength:
None Not a bad stove, but heavy and somewhat large for what it gives you. Good flame, reasonable burn time, but bulky. Not what I would want to take on a serious hike. Customer Service Don''t know Similar Products Used: None |

Extremely reliable stove with great pot supports. Nestles well in an MSR 1.3 liter pot and has as good a piezo ignition system as I've seen. Lights every time! As for cold weather performance, I've fired it up on 18 degree mornings without having slept with the canister (I prefer blended propane) in my bag, with no problems. A little large by newer standards but a great stove. Similar Products Used: camp gaz 270,trangia westwind, peak one |

I was looking for a bulletproof stove and I believe I've found it! Based on reviews I read on this website I purchased a MSR Pocket Rocket. Customer Service None. The way this stove is built, I may never have to call. Similar Products Used: MSR Pocket Rocket, Markill HotShot, Primus Yellowstone, MSR Whispertlite. |
