I have had this stove for a couple of years now. What I like about it is that i can take it apart and put it together blindfolded. I have found that learning how to properly prime the stove is essential. If not you could end up with a bon fire. A major problem if you plan of using this stove in your vestibule.
Learning to cook also takes a lot of pot watching in order not to burn anything. It really only has two speeds...scorch and off, although i have learned to keep just enough pressure in the bottle to get a slower flame.
Would i buy another? Probably not, there are a bunch of other stoves for just a little bit more in price and 10 times better.

Great stove! Boils water fast, fuel efficient, compact, lightweight, and reasonably priced.

Have had this stove for four years now. Used at 14,000 feet elevation to sea-level. Easy to light and use. Simmering, just take the lid of one of your pots and put on stove to serve as intermediate burner. Heat comes down to manageable levels easily. This thing is so lightweight and easy to use.

Had a previous SIGG model. Had to jump through hooops to get any help with this thing. It kept leaking. Luckily REI took it back and I bought the Whisper lite International.

A friend bought me one of these after I mentioned how much I liked how his worked. Very handy, compact, seemed to work pretty well. I plan on using mine for mt. bike camping, so will probably purchase a smaller bottle, but was quite impressed.

Great stove... burns hot in a hurry. If you want a stove to boil water in a hurry, you cannot do it faster with anything else. The fuel seems to last forever. Have been using this stove for a few years now and have never had a problem. Not the best for simmering, but I can do it if I really need to. 95% of the cooking I do does not involve simmering anyways. Good stove. I highly recommend it.

I've used this stove on many trips over the last 4 years. It has yet to clog or refuse to function in any situation. Sometimes it is hard to get a flame above 12,000ft. It is very light and packable.

This stove has served me well for ten plus years. It is light , compact, easy to use and boils fast. In other words, a great stove for back country use. If you want to prepare gourmet meals out of the back of your car or truck, look elsewhwere, like at Coleman. There may be better choices on the market these days, but I'm not looking. If it ain't broke, why fix (or replace) it.

This is an excellent stove, reasonably priced, and reliable. I have used it for 5 years and have never had a problem. however this stove tends to have one setting which is hot. It is great for heating things but keep an eye open when trying to cook something that requires a low heat

Good classic stove. Tough to control the simmering, though. I've these for the past 10 years and have never had a problem (the older one wasn't a shaker jet & it was my brothers). It gets a little sooty from priming but I've heard that if you use rubbing alcohol it stays clean. I have yet to try it.
