I've used a few different stoves, but I still like this one best. Fill it with gas, light it on fire to prime it, then boil water in like 3 seconds. It's not the lightest thing around, and it jangles around like a pocket full of keys in my pack, which drives me crazy, but I still like it best.

I bought this stove new last year, and have had nothing but problems. I tested it at home before camping & it worked fine. First meal out, I got a huge fireball from a fuel leak from tank. Sent to Optimus repair center, and it sat there for a month until I called to check on it. Once they put it in the repair stream, I got it back in about 10 days. They put a new burner and fuel tube in it, free of charge, but now it acts kind of finicky. It's big and powerful - a real nuclear powerhouse. The new silent burner is very quiet, almost silent. But I'm kind of hesitant to trust it now. Maybe that's a personal thing though. My 2 other Optimus stoves work flawlessly.

Customer Service

Stove sat for 3 weeks or so until I called to check on it. Then they started working on it. All this after I called before shipping it in, and the lady told me they took only 2 days to fix stoves and then sent them right back.
