Nothing but trouble, I had it out in the early spring in the Adirondacks. Neadless to say I ate cold meals. First the stove had warming problems then the gaskets decide to give igniting the whole outside of the stove. Worked great in my back yard prior to my trip. I'm sticking with my Gaz nothing like it...

I have had this stove for 6 or 7 years now and I have NEVER had a problem with it. I even lend it out to friends going on trips and they don't have problems with it. I have had it in desert heat and snowy ridge tops and it has always performed excellently without fuss and bother. I have used unleaded gas as well as Coleman fuel in it and the white gas is better, but you can't beat unleaded gasoline's availability. I can recommend this stove without hesitation. My camping buddies use the MSR's and those are also great stoves.

My wife and I canoe camp using this excellent piece of equipment. We really love how this stove simmers, or can boil your pot in nothing flat!! The wind break is also a nice touch. We have'nt used the multi-fueled option yet, but is nice to know that this is available. Excellent stove...highly recommended..

I got one of these stoves several years ago, and it sat in my garage. Recently, when I tested it prior to a hiking trip, it leaked from pump assemby, wouldn't hold pressure and actually squirted fuel out the pump hole. After changing the ball valve, I got it pressurized and working. Then after opening the fuel container again to refuel, I had the same leaking problem. Apparently, it is hit or miss with this stove. Some folks are lucky and have few or no problems, while others curse the day they ever heard of this stove.

Customer Service

They told me that other than the maintenance kit, if it continued to leak, I should replace the whole pump assemby (cost $30.00)

I've had this stove for 5 years with very few problems. It flares quite a bit as with all white gas stoves and it isn't the lightest stove around. However, it does simmmer very well.

Well, it works good, but can get tempermental at low temperatures. It doesn't put out as much heat as a Whisperlite, but it lets you adjust the flame height. Good for chefs, not so good for survivalists.

This is a good stove, works well in all conditions, plus it SIMMERS *ahem*whisperlite*ahem* which is nice if you wnat to do things other than boil water. Very durable, used one in a 20 person outdoor class for 3 years without problems, many trips... only drawback is that its not as light as a whisperlite, but pays for that in cooking quality, overall a good product.

The cooker is a good little thing, well designed, but there are a few things that would make it lots better. The wind shield is pretty flimsy. Some of the spot welds have broken and weren't put under much strain. The flame is really hot, and really adjustable, but is really wide, This means that you NEED to have a wide billy, or else all the heat goes to heating the hut. This is really bad for my espresso machine!! It is really easy to pull apart and service, but it can be almost impossible to do it in the field. Now, I take a leatherman and a bit of grease, so that if an O-ring does break, I can fix it there.

Customer Service

The importer has been really helpful. The simmer control on my unit wasn't working, and I saw the shop, who had a new one waiting for me in three days. No questions.

Great stove for a few years. Braided line broke on 1st night of a 3 day hike, turning the stove into a flame thrower. Self immolated. Parts cost more than the stove. Look elsewhere.
