If you like liquid fuel stoves, not a bad choice. A bit heavier than my friends' Whisperlites, mainly because of the longer fuel line and the aluminum pump. But also sturdier - I don't like the idea of a plastic pump, especially since I met somebody who actually melted the pump of his Whisperlite.
It is as powerful as a Whisperlite and has the same fuel efficiency, but it simmers much better - although it comes nowhere near the flame control of a cartridge stove. I's easier to light as well, and your finger don't get as dirty.
I once used it at minus 18 degrees centigrade, about 0 degrees Fahrenheit. It flared a few times -probably because I didn't prime it long enough- but otherwise worked as usual.
As long as you use clean white gas or clean kerosene, it works perfectly, without the need for continuous maintenance. (By the way: contrary to popular wisdom, white gas is easy to find in Europe, at least in Belgium and France. Ask for "wasbenzine" in Dutch, or "essence C" in French.) But dirtier fuels will clog this stove very frequently. Cleaning is a rather involved and annoying process. My old Optimus Svea 123 is much better in this respect.

It's very stable, the serrated pot supports keep the pots in place.

I would give it a very high rating, but for two things. It is unpleasantly loud, and Primus should include the MSR-style heat reflector and wind shield in the price. Without the wind shield the fuel efficiency drops at an incredible rate in the mildest of breezes.

Primus Europe is absolutely superb. My first Himalaya Varifuel had a lot of problems. Slow cooking times, flare ups, and even a small leak. After a few weeks I returned it to the shop and got my money back. I wrote an angry letter to Primus Europe and forgot about the whole thing. Much to my surprise Primus wrote me back to apologize, and they gave me a brand new and laboratory tested stove for free. Customer services can't get better, I think.

A very nice stove, almost all metal construction looks tougher than other stoves with a lot of plastic parts. Heat output is lower compared to MSR Dragonfly - a problem in cold, windy conditions. I fixed this by adding a foil wind shield and reboring the petrol jet nozzle. The later was done with the tip of a compass (drafting compass). Simmering was difficult when using white gas. Strangely enough, increasing the size of the jet actually improved the stoves ability to simmer. I've used the Primus with unleaded gasoline when I could not buy white gas. Then I found that the stove had to be turned up to prevent excessive soot build up. The lack of a built in system to declog the jet was a minor annoyance. The stove comes with a jet clearing wire attached at right angle to a handle. Using the wire required the stoves disassembly. I got around that by bending the wire at an angle so it could be inserted into the jet while the stove was fully assembled. After all this little tid bits the stove is just about perfect for me. It's ability to use Butane cartridges is a big help when I'm im in a lazy mood and don't want to bother with pumping and priming. Overall an excellent stove.

What can I say, but great stove. You certainly will not be disappointed with the quality and functionality of this unit.
Structural design alone it takes the prize. The most stable standing stove I've used that folds up neatly in its pouch.

This is a great stove, the BTU generated is sufficient to be able to cook fast for 3-4 people. It is light sturdy and versatile. I wanted to buy a stove which could run on unleaded gas...having been stuck for a day waiting for the stores to open to refuel my propane stove. It is tough to clean if for some reason sand gets in the gas vent. and does need a wind shield on very windy days.
but overall a great value.
