Another Great Product from Arcteryx
I've been wearing Arcteryx jackets for a while now and even have a pair of their pants, so I figured why not outfit my hiking gear collection with an Arcteryx backpack? I'm glad I did...this pack is very well made and feels very comfortable, even on extended day hikes that are steep and trecherous. I'm very heppy with this purchase.

Decent pack if you are pretty tall (I'm 185cm). The handle on the back is very nice. The main pocket is easier to reach than on my new Bora 30 (top-loading). The back panel on mine is just unshaped sheets: comfy but little support. Make sure you like the layout before you buy it! Well-made, but I prefer a more rigid back. If you want an Arc'teryx pack, they're quite cheap at www.mec.ca (call and ask, as their web page still sucks).

The Miura is an outstanding day pack (~2200cc). I tried 4 or 5 other packs before it, and there's just no comparison. Perfect fit (for me anyway, 6'1" medium torso), fantastic load capacity, and comfortable straps. My version has a single aluminum stay and a plastic sheet. I routinely carry 3+ liters of water, rain gear, snacks, first aid, etc. on full day hikes, and I usually forget I'm even wearing the Miura.

Complaints: the Miura lacks significant padding on the waist belt (not a big deal unless you're carrying huge amounts of water), and I'd like to see an external elastic webbing pocket.
