None I was shopping in REI looking for a commuter bag...something I could put a few things in. The Quiver looked cool and hip, and having just seen The Lord of the Rings, I felt like Legolas when I put it on. I wore it around the store for a little while...the whole time repeating the mantra, "will i really use this?". Come on I know we have all been there. I brought it home and am happy to say the Quivver is one cool pack. I never bought into the messenger bags because the straps always looked skimpy. The Quiver blows them out of the water. This back has now replaced my day pack, hydration pack, and hip pack. The shoulder strap is amazingling comfortable, and it is designed to be worn on either side. In addition to the one shoulder strap the Quiver has a single hip belt (for lack of a better word) that comes around and secures it tightly. The Quiver also has a zippered storage pocket for a hydration bladder, and at the top of the pack is an ingenios slot that seems pretty waterproof to slide out the hydration tube. My only complaint so far is the largest of the two zippered compartments, the zipper is too small to fit a folder of paper in. I guess I''ll have to grade all my students tests before I come home!
