Quality of this pack is absolutely first rate. I have the 1996 version, from the Killer-B series, which is a little different than the current version. I have had this pack overloaded with camera equipment inside, and a large tripod (Bogen 3021/3047) lashed on the outside. (30+ pounds with water bottles). My legs gave out before the pack became uncomfortable. The quality of this pack has convinced me to purchase a larger Dana pack for longer trips.

I have had this pack for 10 years now and am still impressed with the comfort and quality. I added the padded hipbelt at the time of purchase and have updated the shoulder harness about 3 years ago. Used for dayhikes to carry all the goodies but could go light overnight becuase of numerous lash points. Still going strong and completely satisfied.

My first internal frame pack. I have a weak lower back but have no trouble overnite biking or hiking with this pack loaded to capacity. It distributes the load wonderfully and my hips do all the work.
