This is the perfect backpack for a weekend trek, especially during the summer when you don't need a sleeping bag, but just a bivvy tent and lightweight blanket. It is advertised @ 2200 cu inches and 1 pound, 8 ounces of weight. I have really overloaded it and it still sits comfortably on my back for 20 miles of hiking on weekends. Trying to get all of my Boy Scouts to outfit with one. Too many of them end up purchasing a huge pack that they can't possibly carry, that is too big for a weekend outing. This is small enough to be manageable while still big enough to hold everything.

this pack is great. I have owned it for four years and it has all the room i need. i use it to bring books to school in or when i go build new trails ant my riding spots it is just the right size to hold your folding shovel a saw some food and water for the day. this pack is a great choice if you're looking for something that will bring you through the day.

This is a great little pack. I have owned it for 5 years and it has been everywhere I have been during those years, literally. I have used it everyday to carry a heavy load of books at school. It has also been on a countless number of dayhikes in the mountains, on trails, kayaking, snorkeling trips. This pack can do it all! The large pocket on the top is great to store small things that you need to get at. It is made to be very durable and comfortable. This is a great buy.

I love this pack. It is a small bag, but great for short trips. It is well thought out. Padding in the right places. Mesh to hold any wet clothes. Side lynches to tighten down cargo. A top, back facing pocket, for easy access to items, but not to other people, if in an urban environment, and stuff won't fall out if it is accidently left open. People comment on it and remark how cool it looks. down side is that it is a draw string sack so items are not as accessable as if it had a length wise zipper.
