This is a great daypack or short trek pack. It is really comfortable and durable. Not really large enough for longer trips, but perfect for enough gear to survive a day or two in the woods. I purchased this pack at moosejaw.com (love the moose). Super fast shipping, great deals, incredible customer service, and hilarious website. I have only used it a couple of times because I use a larger pack for longer trips but I am pleased with its overall performance so far.

I noticed a few things, when the bag is havy it is not as comfortable. 2. the staps, above the chest affect breathing, and the soft bio layer, after havy weights becomes as hard as the strap itself. The plastic parts don't work well in the cold

GREAT PACK! Its atomic bombproof! Its perfect for cragging, dayhikes, summiting, and anything else you can think of doing. No excessive parts or compartments. The only problem is that you have to fiddle with the straps a bit to get it to hold a rope under the brain (top compartment/lid thing). But after a little fiddling it holds a rope with ease. It holds just enough: rope, rack, a few warm layers, lunch, first aid, knife, topos, and plenty of room for little things in the brain. Its size also prevents you from taking anything unecessary! The marmot "biospan" really makes the pack hug your back! That is an amazing design feature. The back also wicks really well! Overall, great pack!

Customer Service

Great Pack...used it to climb Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, and to summit Mt.Ranier. Its lightweight and you can carry all your goodies. It has got some sort sweat wicking material on the back and belt. I've also used this pack to ski back country Mt. Baker. Kudos to the design team for putting the upper small cargo compartment. The only thing that could be added as with any pack is a place to put your hydration pouch, a hole for the drinking tube, and securing rings for the drinking tube!! Otherwise great pack!!
