I wanted to update a few things about this tent since I have owned it now for two years. I have started to use it o in relativly warm (non winter) conditions and so far it has served me very well. It is not too hot as I thought it might be, and of course very easy to set up. One thithat really seems to shine is the small foot print. I seem to like to throw down in all kinds of stra places, and its nice if my te just f there. The quality holding p perfectly, oh, have yet to e it in the rain. I can't wait, seeing as I spent about twenty hours seam sealing it.

I bought this tent this season for winter camping in the Adirondacks, and so far I have used it two times.
First: I am a Gear geek or I would not be writing this
The craftsmanship is close to perfect. I think the tent is made with more care than a bibler, the materials are a little more durable and I think its more well thought out. It is heavier than an
eldorado though.
It took me days to seam seal it well, to the point that I can go out as far from home as I want and know it will not let water in. I enjoyed it,(I dont get to do drugs anymore so it was like a homecomming)
I had to overcome the romance of a sinlge wall tent and accept that although small its not nothing, it does pack pretty big,and it has some heft. You dont just run up to summitt ridges with it, you think, do I really need this? For that a Itent might be a little nicer, but thats not what I do.
I put it up in the valleys and then climb the peak. Very easy to set up, in a white out, within minutes Im inside. I like the vestibule, cant imagine not using it at least with two people, and it easily ties out of the way. I slept in it at minus 10 F and it was Cold, maybe warmer than outside but not two much. Alone with all the vents open the inside wall becomes crunchy with frost by morning, but everything was dry upon my return from Gothics later that day.
Same thing with my girlfriend, ton sof frost, but warmer with two people. We pulled all of our gear inside without difficulty, actually left one backback outside empty, an d did not feel cramped. I have to add that my frieds North Face double wall had even more frost so I dont think its a single wall issue. This tent is very strong set with tail into the wind. I can only say it was howling and the tent did not even budge. It was like a hot knife through butter. For the price it is really great, could by two for the price of a Bibler.

Excellent tent. Feels bomproof and stands up without annoying flapping even in quite strong winds. I'm planning to take this tent to 4000m and am sure it will stand up well.

Good for the money. On the down side, it takes about 10 hours to seam seal if you do it well... much longer than it says in teh info that comes with it.
