Bought this back in 1994. It has been to many places and just love the corded aluminum poles and easy one man set up. Clean out is a breeze. Open the door, pick it up and shake it.

Bought this tent in 1990 for European car camping trip. Used for many years as a BWCA canoe camping tent. Easy for one person to set up and take down. Spacious for two, but cramped for four. Hex shape not efficient for larger group. Loved the big windows. Sorry that no-one makes a similar windowy tent any more.

Bought this tent about 20 years ago. It has been through so many windstorms and torrential downpours.
Would recommend to anyone. Finally the fly shredded because of too much sun. Looking for new / used replacement.... brucarr@bell.net

Customer Service

Great but they discontinued the tent.

Not once but three times over the last 9 years we've had the zipper "go" on the tent so that the front door was virtually useless. It seems fragile as silk, stripping all the time. The fabric and design is nice, but our problems with the front door zipper make this expensive tent unusable. I know our experience isn't common (we bought the tent because of its well-known reliability), but we'll never buy a Eureka! product again.

Customer Service

Eureka repaired it twice, and then told us we're on our own from here on.

Actually our is a Kelty,Same tent.Great base camp tent,2 people can put it up quickly, lots of room so U'r not crammed in.Doors(windows) can be left partially open in heavy rains. We use a plastic sheet to protect the floor. If guyed out this tent will handle some really nasty weather, all in all a great design.Handles snow loads well, most slides off,can be heated easily in winter.

Customer Service

Kelty has allways(so far been good)

I have had this tent for 8 or 9 years. I have 2 other tents and this is by far the best tent. I love this tent. It has never failed me, until recently when the zipper finally gave out. I have camped in this tent for 6 and 8 weeks at a time. This is a wonderfully roomy, water resistant home.

I love this tent. I have had it for about 5 years now, and it is still in good shape. It is very light, and when they say it sleeps four they are actually telling the truth. Buy this tent!!!!!
