This tent is perfect for use in the Boundry Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Plenty of room for two people and their gear. Held up nicely in very windy conditions. The ceiling netting provides excellent ventilation and the great star viewing as you fall asleep.

I bought the Solstice 4 last spring and used it through the summer months, it's a *great* tent! Easy to put up and tons of room for two people with all their gear. The ventilation in this tent is terrific. One trip we weathered a bad storm with very high winds - not only did the tent stay up when other people's blew down, it stayed nice and dry inside. I highly recommend this tent.

Great tent for the price. Very roomy 4 man tent. I even have room to let my Great Dane sleep inside. Lots of ventalation. The doors are very accessible on both sides. I didn't get any instructions with mine. I had to call to get them. The tent is very easy to set up. I've also own a Kelty backpack that I'm pleased with.

An excellent family tent, although it is a bit too big to use as a two person, and is a little on the heavy side for extended hiking. However, the set up of the tent is very straight forward, and the ventilation system is very well designed, I thought. Packing the tent back up is also quite easy, as it comes in a zip up bag that eliminates trying to shove the thing in a stuff sack that has a 4 inch diameter opening. Very good for summer camping, and would do fine in spring or fall as well.

Customer Service

I have had a Kelty sleeping bag when I was a little kid, and the only problem was once my mom put it in the dryer and part of it melted. Also I recently used a kelty external frame pack (under ll bean label) that was too small for me. Had it fit, my hike would have been more comfortable.
