This is a very strong, versatile tent, but I admit I have sort of a love/hate relationship with it. You could nearly bounce a bowling ball off of its pole structure, and the ventilation is superb. When you open the door panels and the nearly rain-proof fly vents at the top, you can immediately feel cooling air circulate through the tent. I've set this tent up just before a nasty storm to check the seams, and it came through with flying colors (no seam sealing, either). It's taken big wind without even guying it out (although it has many tie points for this). The big hooped vestibule with removable floor is a great feature, too, and there's room inside the tent for two and plenty of their gear. But... for all this you have weight and bulk to deal with. This thing isn't fun to carry a long distance or up a mountain, and it will eat up a healthy part of your internal pack volume. I've learned to carry the poles separate from the tent bag and put compression straps around the bag to minimize the space problem. Splitting the weight helps, too, of course. So, if you do as much walk-in and car camping as you do backpacking (like I do), this tent will keep you comfortable and inspire confidence like few others could. If you're hiking the AT, I'd keep looking. 4 stars for value, as I got it on sale. 4 stars overall, for a great, but heavy tent.

Customer Service

No direct contact. Moss is gone, but I hear MSR (who bought Moss) is pretty good to their customers.

Considering Moss''s reputation for quality, this tent was one of the worst purchases I''ve ever made. The buckles on the fly and tent bag are too flimsy and broke, I broke a pole after two weeks use, and the screen on the door pulled loose from the seam. I sent it back and got a refund from my dealer. Moss never did respond to my letters, and phone calls about the problems with this tent. This tent has wonderful bells and whistles. Unfortunately I need to be able to trust my tent to keep me dry, and bug-free and those basics were not there!

Customer Service

Very poor. Replacement sent for a broken pole was the wrong one, and took over two weeks to arrive.

This is an extremely well made four season tent that is also comfortable in warm weather thanks to great venting. Absolutely water tight and strong as all heck! Nice vestibule and attractive coloring are also a big plus. Plenty of comfortable room for two campers and their gear. Hooped vestibule provides room for one to crouch and do your thang. It's also nice to take this thing car camping and have all the nearby campers come out of their wall-mart tents to check yours out. I love this tent and I'm sure its gonna last for many years as all moss tents do. I got an excellent deal on this tent at REI and you can too.

Customer Service

Moss will lick your booty if it will keep you smiling. 'nuff said!

By far one of the greatest designs I have seen. The tent offers superb space for two people. I have used this tent in all conditions, from snow drifts to hot and humid conditions. The sky panels make this tent bearable in hot weather. Truly this tent offers quality manufacturing.

Customer Service

No, hope I never have to.
