One of the best 4 season tents ever made! This thing has kept me dry and warm on so many trips. It's design allows for some serious winds without problem. I have had it flex and bend at 40-45 MPH winds, but never a problem and never a bent pole or rip. One of the best things about this tent is it's weight! Finding a durable 4-season tent like this is near impossible and more. Most tents made to handle what this tent can, are very heavy! I also like how big the vestibules are. Many two-man tents only have one opening or have one vestibule. This tent has two doors and TWO vestibules. Downsides....they don't make it anymore. If you find one in good shape, BUY IT!

This is a great tent and offered everything that I ever looked for.
I created a list from several tents I owned before. The list was comprised of four things. Sierra Designs, Clip System, Two Doors, and 3/4 season. I got everything I wanted.
The construction is awesome. The tent is a little heafty and its creature comforts are worth the weight.

Customer Service

Never had a need for customer service. I have a 12 year old clip flashlight that I am still using. I cannot complain.

I choice this tent because it was the lightest 4 season tent on the market (5#), and had always liked the ease of Sierra Designs tents with pole clips rather than sleeves. i liked the two door design which was quite convenient for getting in and out of the tent without having to crawl over the other person, It also came with a decent vestibule and adequate floor space for two. I was NOT prepared for the problems with ventilation in the tent. Even with the two doors we had problems with condensation, nor with the way snow and water collected on the roof of the tent to eventually soak through and drip in. For a four season tent it was quite disappointing!

This tent has never let me down. It has sheltered a friend or two after their tents were transformed into bathtubs. The tent is a little heavier than some of the other tents out there but the sound of mind is worth it. I have found that it takes longer to set up than a tent with equiped with continuous pole sleeves. However, once the tent is up it is not going anywhere. The living space inside is perfect. I have found the height to be more adequate than a lot of the lighter weight tents.

The Aurora has been a very good all around tent. The interior space is good for the weight, except a little lack of height. Actual weight of tent is 6 lb. 12 oz. including tent, poles, sack, pegs etc. About 12 oz. heavier than advertised pack wt. But I've found this to be normal with most all tents regardless of manufacturer. Stability is excellent as is ease of setup. The fly also has a nice sized vestibule for gear or cooking out of the weather. The tent is freestanding, but staking out helps with interior volume. I've been pleased, it is worth the price and the weight is reasonable compared to other tents I considered.

Customer Service

I've no problems with tent, so have had no need to contact customer service.
