I just bought a pair of SCARPA Brasilia''s 5/9/02 so I cannot comment on their durability. However, I hiked Arches National Park the day after I bought them with virtually no hot spots or blisters after several hours of hard wear. They comes in European sizes, and are narrow through the heel, which I have to have in a boot. They are more flexible than most full leather hikers, and I find them breathable and not too clunky as I continue to break them in. I am very happy with this purchase.
