This is my first harness and I am very please with the ability to adjust all aspects of the harness. My wife and I have only been climbing for about a year and have done a lot of toproping. The harness is very comfortable while hangdogging on difficult routes. I would have no hesitation recommending this harness to anyone.

I got addicted to climbing about seven years ago and I loved it ever since. This is a great harness for all around climbing. Although I don't venture out much, I have had great times and close calls while wearing this harness and I have felt safe the whole time.

My first harness and I am very pleased. I tried several others with similar features but what I liked about this was the ability to adjust the "rise"...the area in the front from the belay loop down to the leg loops. Most of the others that I tried were too short which made them pretty uncomfortable.

The 3D Freedom is a great harness for all around climbing. I've found it to be equally useful indoors as well as on multipitch climbs outdoors. I really liked the simple and clean layout and the adjustable leg loops didn't give me the feeling of having extra webbing flapping all over the place. Although it is somewhat lighter in padding, it's always been comfortable to hang from. An excellent harness that you can climb in all day long.

Customer Service

not personally, but i heard that Metolious was really cool about recalling some other style of harness. fyi
