The Jump is padded really well, so it's great for long routes. I like the fact that I don't have to mess around with the buckle everytime I put it on. All you have to do is pull the strap tight. The fit seemed a little better at the store. The leg loops are starting to seem a little small and I have to pull the waist strap pretty much all the way tight, but it still fits well. I'd probably go with a harness with adjustable leg loops next time, but other than that, I love this harness.

I have mixed emotions about the Jump. Love the comfort and feel of it during a belay, but sometimes find it a hinderence while climbing because of the width of the waistbelt. I like the ease of clipping gear onto the loops, but question their logevity. I also had a problem getting a proper fit. I have a 32 inch waist, but 28 inch legs and am 6'2"". The med. fit my waist, but was too short in the crotch and it was a struggle to get the leg loops on. I usually go with the large and hope I don't fall upsidedown.

Customer Service

I'm a big Petzl fan - love most of their gear. a little on the pricey side, but the quality seems to justify this. I'd give this 4.5 stars overall

This one of the most comfortable harnesses around, and so it is considered in Europe. I am quite surprised from other reviews. This is not a mountain harness, more a pure climbing harness, even if the not adjustable leg loops are large enough to fit alpine pants (but has no drop seat); you can belay a friend working on a 5.11 for one hour without suffering. Only real weak point is the position of the gear loops on the left, not symmetrical with the right ones, but more on the side (only God knows why). Price here is lower than the Black Diamond Mentor.

Nice harness. Nicely padded for hanging belays. Could possibly use additional gear loops and adjustable leg loops.

Fits great for me. Long leg loops, not too wide. Padding is really nice for long belay when working on a route.
Gear loops are very small but OK for quickdraws.
Altogether, great sport harness.

this harness is the third fourth harness i've owned and my favorite thus far. the comfort rating is 5 stars. it's a little heavier than most, but that's because of the comfort. i have big thighs so my choices were a little limited in choosing other harnesses.
