This is a comfortable, solid harness that is a steal at its price. I purchased it because I was seeking a harness similar to the top-of-the-line, dual-buckle Petzl harnesses, which I find fit me very well. The Double is made in the Czech Republic, like stuff from Trango. It is very tough. Stiff foam padding is used throughout. The buckles - two on the waste and one one each leg loop - are quality made and don''t slip (unlike the Petzl''s). I have belayed for hours and barely noticed the thing. It looks like it will last for years. One drawback: the Double is made as "one size fits all." While this allows a wide latitude in siaes (and beer guts), it means that you could potentially have a bit of velcro rubbing against your gut if you are on the large end of the scale. The Velcro is used only to help you get the harnesses on and is in no way used to support weight (the stout buckles do that). All in all, a great bargain.
