I like the simple design and convenient features like loops inside and on bottom for attaching stuff. It's very durable, and is almost the same dimension as an Army duffle bag which is what I used before to carry all my gear to the crag. The deluxe model has a top that can be closed with a drawstring. This forms a dome when the pack is fully crammed with gear. The name Atom Smasher is appropriate...one can grab the haul loops and bounce and jostle the load smashing the contents down to allow for more. I like to pack soft goods against the carrying side for comfort. The shoulder straps and waist strap are padded, adjustable and make it easy to balance the load as one hikes. It's tougher than my old Army duffle and looks good too. Fish provides a nice color selection too, and I believe each one of these is custom made. The craftwork in the one I got is exceptional.
