The mountain Technology Alpine Axe has been introduced a long time ago, still no better general purpose axe has been created.
Tried a lot of other axes, none of which has the feel of the MT axe.
The balance is just perfect. It never failed on me, not during trips in the Alps, not
on gully climbing in Scotland.
Only one little problem: it's expensive, but on the other hand, it lasts forever.
