I bought these boots as a heavy backpacking and mountaineering/scrambling boot. I have weak ankles so I wanted alot of support. I've logged about 25 km in them. They are still working my feet over (blister, sore points) but what are you to expect from a VERY STIFF boot. It gives me all of the support that I need. The only drawback thus far is that the boot is VERY HEAVY!! I'm pretty satisfied. The best part of the deal is that they were $320 Canadian and I got them for $175.
