I've been using these for a few years. They work fine but honestly I don't think they work any better or worse than any other hex, curvy or not. In some cases I wish they were slung rather than wired as the stiff wire seems to require you to "set" them rather more aggressivly to prevent them from moving. My advice on hexes is buy the cheapest ones avaliable.

These are awesome. These things can be used passively like a stopper, but can be used to cam in some situations. Some pockets and horizontal cracks take them in a similar way to tri-cams.
