These are decent nuts. But not great. The pros: 1. these nuts seat well in most types of rock. they do not work very well with coarse grained granite, but excell in finer grained mediums (eldo; and probably most sandstone areas). 2. these nuts are relatively easy to clean--you definately cant do the "jerk-and-yank" method of cleaning that works so well with BD nuts, but with a gentle hand or a quick tap from the nut tool, they come out well. 3. theyre color-coded, if youre into that the cons: 1. those stupid color-coded bands are really annoying. theyre bulky, and dont slide very well on your racking biner, and they get caught amongst eachother on your racking biner--all of which makes these the least favorite nut when at a dicey crux. 3. these nuts dont place very well in an endwise placement--this doesnt happen all that often, but when you need it, its nice to have a secure nut when placed endwise. good value (not overly expensive-and those 10-packs are pretty cool, i guess) but quality is lacking
