Great crack shoes. Too insensitive for gym or sports climbing. These are the shoes I would use in moderate alpine routes when you have to keep'em on all day.

Although these where my first pair of climbing shoes, I never felt that they where giving me exactly what I wanted. The sole, although sticky (which boot isn't) was too thick and insensitive and therefore difficult to edge well in. The lining didn't help with the sensitivity either.

I suppose I'm being overly harsh though, as they are a good beginners shoes; they can take the abuse, but all the same they are a bit too pricey to trash.

Don't expect amazing performance from these, but you can be sure to climb your favourite granite route, crack or slab in these.

Customer Service

I've had them 2 years, resoled them twice, and had no other problems other than the usual wear and tear.

Great shoe! Excellent quality and construction. I've climbed in this shoe about once a week for the past 2 years and have not had any problems at all.The Zephyr is partially lined and mine have not stretched very much. I tried La Sportiva and 5.10 also. They just don't fit my feet as well. This is a long lasting shoe that will continue to perform as you grow in skill.
