Bought the shoes about a month ago and got some nice action on them. Very comfortable, slippery on smears for some rock faces, and edging is fair. The shoe build is nice and sturdy. I like the shoe for a beginners perspective but i would probably one another main pair. For the money though you cant beat it!

I purchased my Kermit''s about three years ago as my first pair of climbing shoes. I didn''t want to spend a lot of money on a pair of shoes I was sure to tear up with sloppy foot work. Tear them up I did, but they have served me well. Edging is fair, smearing is great, they are very comfortable and fit true to size. I would definitely recommend these shoes to any novice. In fact, they nave performed well at the intermediate level as well. I have led stout 5.10''s in these shoes with nary a complaint. My main shoes are now a pair of Scarpa''s, but my Kermit''s have been resoled and are still in use.
