This shoe has been discontinued...it has been replaced by the Sapphire...it fits just like the Spire does...except for the fact that it will not stretch like the Spire does...it is still comfy...just a different color...green

Customer Service

if you have any questions call 5-10 and ask them...you can probably get some Diamonds on ebay or even in a close out catalog...

These shoes are really really good, and are a perfect compromise between comfort and performance. The first couple of time I wore them they killed after half an hour but now I can ware them all day. I got then two whole sizes down from my trainer size. The only let down is the construction which is pretty poor, the heel splits (on both pairs i''ve had) and the rand buckles at the top. But They are still worth it.

I'm a new climber, and recently, fed up with hire shoes, decided the time had come to get my own. As soon as I tried on the diamonds I knew they were the ones! They cost a little more than I'd intended spending, but they felt so comfortable, unlike the others I'd looked at. I'm surprised at all the rave reviews from narrow-footed women as I have a pretty wide foot, but the diamond fits me perectly too. No structural problems so far, but I've not had them long - or maybe I'm not climbing hard enough!

If you have narrow feet and a high arch like me, then these are THE shoes for you. I LOVE the way they fit, they are extremely comfortable. They are a great all around climbing shoe. They are pretty expensive, but probably worth it in the long run if you have especially narrow feet and heels. I haven't felt any overheating in Central Texas on limestone, maybe i'm used to it. I have had a problem with the rubber coming off at heel. I've had these about a month and used them indoors and outdoors. The fit will never be beat.

i bought the daimonds when i was living in the UK. that was nearly 2 years ago. though i like the way they handle trad climbs and the fact that i can wear them all day i have had a couple problems. the fleecy inside, which is part of the reason they are so comfy is starting to peel out at the heel. not so good. otherwise im pretty happy.

I got these shoes at the five-ten outlet near my house for $90 brand spankin' new..they are unique because they are red. Apparently they tested out a different color then changed their minds and stuck to black. I LOVE them. I am pretty new to climbing, but I've tried several other shoes and the Diamonds rule. Toebox is small. Don't go a size down. The S-shaped lace up is extremely comfortable. I climb nearly every weekend and these shoes just keep on getting better. Don't plan on using them for approaches though.

Since I live 5 min. from their factory, I go there just to drool occasionally. They are so nice and will bend over backwards to help you out, no snobbery.

I love the way these shoes grip, so I'm willing to put up with the fact that the all-black design makes them insanely uncomfortable on hot days. I have wide feet, which causes some discomfort in these shoes. But hey, they're climbing shoes. They're not supposed to be comfortable.

I am using my second pair of diamonds now and i really like them still. they fit me well and the lining is so comfortable but get worn pretty quickly. the stiffness of the sole is just right, giving enough support yet still have some sensitivity. But i started to get a hole on the rand on one of the shoes (my second pair) 3 weeks into using them and the hole is now quite a bit bigger, they are ready for a resole i think.

i got these shoes for christmas this past year, and i love them. i have narrow feet, so the other (men's) shoes didn't fit well, but they fit my feet well. i haven't taken them outside to climb in yet, but i've had them on the indoor wall and they are awesome! The only bad thing i've found w/ them is the price...but they were my Christmas present so that didn't really affect me :)

Shoes are a bit narrow in the toe area - the angle may be a bit exaggerated. I like the look but agree that black boils your feet on the wall.
