I got the lace up version. They run small. I wear and 8 in street shoes and an 8 in the hooker, and it is tight! I also happen to have slightly wider than normal feet. These shoes have KILLER performance!!!!! They have a dual thickness sole that has thicker, harder (but disgustingly sticky!) rubber along the outside for edging and very thin and VERY sticky rubber in the middle area of the foot. They are super sensitive like a good slipper. They smear on any and everything. They also edge on dime thin holds. The rubber is stickier than Stealth C4, if you can believe it! The heels have ridges on them that make them hook like nothing else I have ever used. The heels are suction cup tight! No slop anywhere on these suckers! The top of the fore foot is covered in a thin layer of rubber that allows you to use the top of the shoe on over hanging routes and is very helpful. They also lace up on the side of the foot, which makes them very comfortable. They do not stretch much because of the rubber on the top...mine have stretched less than a half size. Despite the tight fit, they are very comfortable. They not only do everything, but they do it exceptionally well! They force your foot to down point, but are flexible enough to do slabs without too much discomfort. They do require some foot strength because they are so flexible. They are either the best edging slipper I have ever used or the best smearing edging shoe I have ever used!! The sick thing about these shoes is the price! They perform better than any shoe I have used so far, but they are only $90. And this is the price of a shoe that can blow the doors off the best that 5.10 and La Sportiva have to offer. These shoes are going to cause a price turnaround in the industry. They are in direct competition with shoes that cost $145 and up, and blow their doors off! It's scary how good these things are! 1 to 10 ratings. (10 the best) smearing: 9.9 edging:9.9(the Mesa by 5.10 beats it) slabs:8.5 over vertical:10 cracks:9.9 pockets:10 heel hooks:10 knobs:10 They are a very aggressive, high performance shoe that excel in the gym, in competition, bouldering, and long routes. This is the only shoe I have used that is great at everything. Most shoes are great at one thing and not so good at everything else, or perform well at everything but not exceptional at anything. This shoe just flat out ROCKS MY CLIMBING WORLD!

Customer Service

Not had to deal with it yet, but they answered my e-mail questions the same day and were very helpful with the info I asked for.

They look great. They are hard to break in but worth the pain. These shoes will grip anything.
