This is my second pair of shoes and are very much better for technical work compared to my first pair of boreal zephyrs. smears and edges well and overall fit is very snug. the only down point is that the heel is abit baggy. In terms of climbing it is not a problem but sure is annoying to have farting sounds when i''m walking!

These are the second pair of shoes I have bought, and WOW what a difference. I have 5.10 Huecos too, and they were giving me all kind of problems edging. I bought these quite tight so I can't wear them between climbs comfortably, but they allowed me to move up almost instantaneously from doing 5.10's to 5.11's in the gym, almost solely due to the newfound confidence i had in my feet. I have had them for 2 months now with no problematic wear like I had with my 5.10's and also very little stretching of the shoe. Another bonus is the quick lacing system... almost as fast as a slipper!

I have feet that are wider than usual in the front, and narrower than usual in the heel. I started climbing with some boreal zephyrs a few years ago, and graduated to 5.10 Mocassyms shortly after. The Mocs were painful to break in, but they stretched to fit and now I love them...

When it came time to resole them, I went looking for another pair and found the Red Chili Habaneros. Wow! The shoe fit amazingly well! When I pulled the laces tight, it felt as though the shoes were being vacu-formed to my feet! They edge wonderfully, they have enough camber to be great on the overhangs, and they were comfortable to climb and walk in, even on my first day of wearing them. Now I hardly touch my re-soled Mocs... :)

WOW!! WOW,WOW,WOW!!!!! My Foot is slightly Wide. For casual shoes or sneakers I buy off the rack, but a climbing shoe needs to fit like a glove . This does. I can stand on the smallest edges with both sides of my foot and any part of my toes. The super sticky soles smear well. These are my second pair of climbing shoes and what a difference they have made. My climbing has improved dramatically. If red chili was a better known brand these would be the best selling shoe in the country. For now they shall remain my secret weapon. CLIMB ON!

Customer Service

One of thier distributors ALL OUTDOORS in nashua NH didn't carry this model. I asked if he could special order two pairs and I would buy the one that fit. He did because RED CHILI said they would take back the one I didn't want. They bent over backwards for my business
